Abstract
For months it seems that we have been threatened by the corona virus in a way that has not existed for a long time. And many seem to think that the most important thing is to „fight“ death. A discussion of our fears and the need to accept our mortality seems to be rare; especially people with influence, such as politicians who always speak up seem to have little interest in accepting mortality as given. We stare at numbers, are happy when there are few illnesses and seem collectively to assume that the virus and the death will soon be defeated. In this context, it may be helpful to think a little about “living parting”.
