Self experiences with "extraordinary" states of consciousness

Abstract

Based on own experiences different extraordinary states of consciousness are described and interpreted. It is demonstrated, that these states have a common nucleus in spite of their great diversity and that it is indispensible to study them in order to understand consciousness as a complex and dynamic system.

*1929th doctor for psychiatry and neurology, psychoanalyst, teaching and control analyst in his own practice. Zen teacher. Assistant lecturer for border areas between anthropology and depth psychology at the Munich School of Philosophy. More than 120 publications, 9 of which are books, 5 of which together with Dr. Almuth Huth.
