Abstract

This article deals with the question of whether and how an integration of spirituality in psychotherapies makes sense and is possible. For this, the ability to integrate is discussed against the background of different world views. The question is interpreted in such a way that it is primarily about the spirituality of our patients / clients. It does not represent a single approach or method, but describes the problems with and the possibilities of openness and acceptance by psychotherapists. Guideline Psychotherapy refers to the three main procedures that were approved according to the Psychotherapists Act 1999 for billing with the health insurance funds.
