Abstract

The whole corona problem since the beginning of the year has raised many medical, political, economic and ethical questions and will probably continue to do so. The way individuals deal with this topic and the psychological reactions from the people are no less interesting. For some, the political regulations to curb the pandemic did not go quickly, far or long enough, others found them unnecessary, because they did not classify Covid 19 as more dangerous or even harmless than a „normal“ virus. Some suspected a conspiracy of a political opponent, the pharmaceutical industry, a secret organization, Bill Gates or even their own government. In this article, the phenomenon of „conspiracy theories“ is explored and examined from a psychological, sociological and transpersonal perspective.
