Abstract

In every person’s life a question will arise with total radicalness: “Which of the sleeping potentials within me will by means of my body accomplish in everyday life?” This is not about optimization of health or treatment of illness, but about finding a sense giving answer. The experts in the present health care system are not allowed to turn to such a request. The logic of the health care system is slanted towards medicalization and disease mongering. This is why, starting from a model of alert consciousness, we present a new professional orientation of becoming accompaniment.
